In village Mainasar of Ratangarh tehsil, a young man climbed the tower in protest against the underground pipeline being laid for drainage of rain water.

The underground pipeline being laid for drainage of rain water in village Mainasar of Ratangarh tehsil of the district has become a problem for the administration. The file for this work has been circulating among the administrative officials for two years, but this work has not been completed yet. The work was started on Wednesday in compliance with the order of Rajasthan High Court. Similarly, Bablu, a youth from Mainasar, protested by climbing a mobile tower located near the Ashok Pillar of the city and started demanding to stop the work.

Police reached the spot after receiving information and counseled the young man. But the young man remained adamant on his demand. Ratangarh police station head constable Premkumar said that the young man who had climbed the tower was talked to on mobile. His demand was heard. Accepting the demand, the ongoing work in Mainasar was stopped. But even after this the young man did not come down from the tower. It is noteworthy that under the supervision of the High Court, under the direction of Tehsildar Bhagirath, the work of laying the pipeline in Mainasar started on Wednesday with police force.

The huts and other constructions coming at the site where the pipeline was being laid were removed. Then the protest started there. The police brought with them a woman from among the angry people. At the same time, a young man named Bablu came to Ratangarh and started expressing his protest by climbing the mobile tower located near the Ashoka Pillar. Till the time of writing the news, the young man was not brought down from the tower till late evening.
