Decided to continue the Prime Minister’s relief measures in utility stores.

Ramazan packages for utility stores have ended. Thereafter, it was decided to continue with the Prime Minister’s relief package. Sources said that under the Prime Minister’s relief package Subsidy for five basic commodities will continue: sugar, flour, ghee, pulses and rice. For BISP users, who will receive subsidy under the Prime Minister’s relief package, a monthly subsidy of about Rs 3 billion will be provided. A bag of flour will be available at Rs 393 per kg to consumers. Pulses and rice will get a subsidy of Rs 25 per kg. According to sources, utility stores are planning to continue the Prime Minister’s package till June 2024. The decision will be taken by the central government.
