After 37 years with only one store in Kuwait, IKEA opens the third customer meeting point, the New IKEA Shop in the heart of the city, in The Assima Mall. Our social feeds are already abuzz about this new destination in K-town, which is why we were super excited to check out everything this IKEA store is bringing to city-goers!
IKEA opens this shop with the purpose of bringing the IKEA experience to the heart of Kuwait City and to be closer to more people in Kuwait, to surprise, excite and inspire them with a unique and unforgettable experience.
And delighted we were! Every corner of this IKEA store felt like home, from the way the products are cleverly merchandised, to the iconic city views in the IKEA Cafe. We felt like we can just walk in, and flop on the amazing couches set up in front of the projector in the living room space set up for a movie night. Honestly, we just needed some popcorn, and the mood would have been complete.
