Nahid Siddiqui (born 1956 ) is a performer of Kathak dance.She has been a student of two great teachers: Maharaj Kathak (Pakistan) and Birju Maharaj (India). Through her dedication, she has not only earned a reputation as a prolific artist but has also established a standard of quality, a refined sensibility of beauty, and an intricate system of technical skills that has won wide acclaim around the world. He is recognized for his style, technique, and expressive contributions, which are rooted in Islamic and Sufi ethics, sensitivity, and ultimate unity.[4] Siddique continues to develop his craft while performing in major venues, festivals, and television around the world.
He has received numerous awards, including Pakistan’s Pride of Performance, the UK’s British Cultural Awards, and the International Dance Awards.
