Election Commission attacks Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf big time

The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a decision regarding the postponement of the Senate elections. of which the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had been warned.

The Election Commission stated that if some seats are not sworn in The Election Commission will be forced to postpone Senate elections in the province.

The judgment states that no voter will be deprived of the right to vote. The Election Commission has clear authority to order the relevant administration to provide an oath to the petitioner.

The Election Commission said that if the KP council president does not comply with the court order The Election Commission can postpone Senate elections in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region until certain seats are sworn in under the Election Act.
