New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday granted interim bail to Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal till June 1 in the Delhi excise policy case. The court asked them to surrender on June 2.

According to reports, lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing for Kejriwal, said that the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be announced on June 4 but campaigning ends 48 hours before the final polling day. The court therefore considered that date 1. June is a good time to surrender.
