A tragic incident unfolded on Nasir Bagh Road in Peshawar, where reports indicate a motorcycle explosion occurred within the jurisdiction of Nasir Bagh Police Station, the capital of the province. Regrettably, two individuals lost their lives in the blast, while another sustained injuries and was promptly transported to Khyber Teaching Hospital for medical attention.
Responding swiftly to the situation, SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi, along with SP Taimur Khan, DSP Regi Javed Akhtar, and a contingent of law enforcement personnel, swiftly arrived at the scene upon receiving reports of the explosion.
Upon arrival, Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU) and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) teams were deployed to the location to assess the nature of the blast. Meanwhile, the area is being closely monitored following the tragic incident.
