A festive announcement echoes across Saudi Arabia as the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development declares a holiday in celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

The Ministry’s proclamation grants most employees a well-deserved four-day break, commencing from Monday, April 8, marking the onset of Eid al-Fitr.

The holiday period extends until Thursday, April 11, taking into account the customary weekend in Saudi Arabia, observed on Friday and Saturday. Thus, employees can relish a generous six-day hiatus.

Following this joyous respite, both government and private sector employees are scheduled to resume work on Sunday, April 14.

This year, the fasting month commenced on March 11 in Saudi Arabia, setting the stage for the upcoming Eid festivities.
