To ensure justice is delivered promptly to the people, DPO Khushab Toqeer Muhammad Naeem orchestrated an open court session in Nowshera, the primary city in the Soon valley. This initiative aimed to address citizens’ grievances directly, eliminating the need for them to travel to the DP Joharabad office.
During the open court session, residents from various districts presented their complaints individually, which were promptly heard and addressed on the spot. DPO Toqeer Muhammad Naeem emphasized the police’s duty to serve the people, stating that they are meant to be servants rather than guardians. The primary objective of the open court was to provide swift justice at citizens’ doorsteps.
Attendees were encouraged to voice their concerns openly, with assurances that their issues would be resolved. Furthermore, DPO Toqeer Muhammad Naeem pledged to collaborate with the city police to identify and take legal action against drug dealers. Additionally, it was announced that an FIR would be registered within 24 hours of any theft, including motorcycle theft, ensuring timely response to criminal incidents.
To streamline the process, attendees were urged to register their complaints, ensuring that none would be overlooked. DSP Malik Abdul Rehman and SHO Malik Ijaz Ahmed were also present during the session, further bolstering the commitment to provide justice to the community.
