In his speech at the Asma Jahangir conference in Lahore. Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said the federal government’s total revenue could not cover the interest. Devaluation of the dollar will not be possible under any circumstances.
He said that failing to provide relief to the people in the budget, going to the IMF means we have failed. You cannot work in any sector by purchasing expensive electricity.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi added: It cannot be developed in countries that do not have a justice system. The country cannot move forward until the justice system is right. Instead of creating a burden on the people, it must be reduced.
Former Financial Advisor Dr. Ayesha Ghos Pasha said in his speech at the ceremony that we need to reduce the budget deficit and increase exports.
