Karachi: A two-member delegation from the International Cricket Council (ICC) has landed in Karachi to evaluate the preparations for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.
Comprising Senior Event Operations Manager Sara Edgar and Event Operations Manager Aun Zaidi, the ICC team is set to scrutinize the facilities at the National Stadium Karachi today. Tomorrow, the delegation will head to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, followed by Islamabad on Wednesday. ICC Head of Events, Chris Tetley, is slated to join the delegation in Lahore tomorrow.
The Champions Trophy 2025, slated to occur in Pakistan, is scheduled for February-March. This inspection visit marks a crucial step in ensuring that the hosting venues meet the required standards for the prestigious cricket tournament.
